PUBLIC SAFETY CRIME ALERT
The Leesburg Police Department is investigating a series of urglaries
and assaults that have occurred over the past several months. In each case an unknown male, dressed in black and wearing a mask has entered the home. The suspect has on several occasions grabbed or touched a female resident. When the female screams, resists or the suspect is confronted by another resident, he flees the scene. Entry is almost always through unlocked doors and windows. The police department advises all residents to lock their doors and windows and immediately report any suspicious activity.
